How I work with agencies
The operational detail you check before handing a stranger a brief. Here it is, plainly — no surprises later.
The four commitments.
I never contact your client
Every message goes through you. Always.
My name appears nowhere
Not in deliverables, code, metadata or staging URLs.
You own everything
Work-for-hire, assigned on final payment.
I tell you when I’m full
No brief I can’t hit the deadline on.
NDA and IP
An NDA is signed before any brief changes hands — I’ll sign yours, or send you mine, whichever you prefer. On final payment, all code, documentation and assets are assigned to your agency as work-for-hire. You own the result outright, with nothing left pointing back to me.
White-label, properly
My name is on nothing you ship. Not in the deliverables, not in code comments, not in commit authors or file metadata, not in staging URLs or email signatures. To your client, and to anyone who inspects the work later, your team built it. That’s the whole point of white-label, so I treat it as a hard rule, not a preference.
Briefs, and how questions are handled
Send a brief by email: the URL, the platform, and what’s stuck. I come back with scope and a fixed price — or a clear estimate if it needs investigation first — usually within one business day. If I have questions, they come to you, never to your client. On an active project, you’ll hear back from me the same working day.
Staging and handover
I work on a staging environment, not your client’s live site unless there’s genuinely no other option. When it’s done you get the code, a short written summary of what changed and why, and whatever your team needs to keep it running after I’ve gone. No black boxes, no “only I understand this.”
Working hours and time zones
I work EU/CET hours, which lands as a morning overlap with US time zones. In practice, a brief you send at the end of your day is often finished and waiting for you at the start of the next — the work carries on while your office is closed. When we’re both online, there’s a solid window each day for real-time questions.
